Aluminium prices fell Rs 1.75 to Rs 352.40 per kg in futures trade on Friday as traders reduced their positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), aluminium contracts for April delivery declined Rs 1.75, or 0.49%, to Rs 352.40 per kg, with a trading volume of 67 lots.

Market analysts said position trimming by participants due to easing demand from consuming industries weighed on aluminium futures prices.
