Sensex and Nifty traded lower during the noon trading session on Wednesday as weakness in FMCG, oil & gas and financial stocks weighed on the benchmarks.

At 12:20 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77621.27 down by -559.45 points or by -0.72 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24234.95 down by -163.75 points or by -0.67 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 77851.18 and intraday low of 77549.98 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24300 and intraday low of 24207.2

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 295.00,+1.92%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 2945.00,+0.58%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1837.95,+0.20%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1073.45,+0.17%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (Rs. 5280.55,-2.15%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2170.00,-1.81%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 14291.95,-1.72%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 284.10,-1.66%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1319.95,-1.54%), among others.
