The benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, trimmed a portion of their intraday losses but continued to trade under pressure on Wednesday.

At 14:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74397.58 down by -252.26 points or by -0.34 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23433.65 down by -49.9 points or by -0.21 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 74507.73 and intraday low of 73492.6 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23447.65 and intraday low of 23151.5

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1243.40,+1.39%), Trent Ltd. (Rs. 4265.00,+1.29%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 285.30,+1.06%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 382.60,+0.96%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 13146.20,+0.92%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 2246.85,-8.22%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1484.60,-5.50%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1181.05,-5.04%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1221.70,-3.86%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 278.00,-1.84%), among others.
